Thank you for choosing Raaghah Country Villa! These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services, including bookings for day visits, overnight stays, and special events. By making a reservation or visiting our venue, you agree to adhere to these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.


1. General Information

Raaghah Country Villa is a family-friendly, halaal-friendly venue located in Macassar, Cape Town. We offer exclusive, private bookings for both day visits and overnight stays. Our venue is ideal for families, groups, and organizations seeking a serene environment for relaxation, reflection, and special events. These terms and conditions outline the responsibilities and expectations for guests staying at Raaghah Country Villa.


2. Booking and Reservations


2.1 Making a Booking:

  • To book a stay at Raaghah Country Villa, you must contact us via phone/WhatsApp at 0792594460 or email at reservations@raaghahvilla.com. You can also fill out our online booking form.
  • Bookings are subject to availability, and a deposit is required to secure your reservation.


2.2 Booking Confirmation:

  • A booking is considered confirmed only once a deposit has been received. You will receive a confirmation email or message once the booking is confirmed.
  • If you do not receive a confirmation message, please contact us directly to ensure that your reservation has been processed correctly.


2.3 Deposit and Payment:

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit amount will vary based on the package or services selected and will be communicated to you during the booking process.
  • The deposit will be deducted from the total booking cost. However, the deposit is non-refundable in the case of cancellation, as outlined in the cancellation policy.
  • The remaining balance of the booking cost must be paid in full before check-in.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer.


2.4 Payment Terms:

  • Full payment must be made before check-in. If payment is not received by the check-in date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking, and the deposit will not be refunded.
  • We accept the following payment methods: Bank transfer, credit card, and PayPal. For bank transfers, payment details will be provided upon booking.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice. Please confirm the final pricing at the time of booking.


3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Cancellations by Guests:

  • Cancellations must be made in writing (via email or WhatsApp) at least 72 hours before the scheduled check-in time to receive a full refund of the deposit (excluding any non-refundable service fees).
  • If a booking is canceled less than 72 hours before the check-in date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking cost will apply.
  • If a booking is canceled within 24 hours or in the case of a no-show, no refund will be issued.
  • For group bookings or events, a cancellation notice of at least 14 days is required for a full refund.


3.2 Cancellations by Raaghah Country Villa:

  • In rare cases, Raaghah Country Villa may need to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances such as maintenance issues, emergencies, or events beyond our control.
  • If we cancel your booking, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund of any payments made, including the deposit.
  • We are not responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred by the guest in the event of a cancellation.


4. Check-In and Check-Out

4.1 Check-In Process:

  • Standard check-in time is from 14:00 onward. Early check-ins may be accommodated upon request, depending on availability, and may incur an additional charge.
  • Upon arrival, guests are required to present a valid ID (e.g., passport, driver’s license) and the confirmation of their booking.


4.2 Check-Out Process:

  • The standard check-out time is 10:00 on the day of departure. Late check-out requests will be considered based on availability but must be arranged in advance and may incur an additional charge.
  • Failure to check out on time may result in additional charges for the extra hours stayed.


4.3 Security Deposit:

  • A refundable security deposit may be required at check-in. The deposit is held as security against any damages, theft, or excessive cleaning costs.
  • The amount of the security deposit varies depending on the size of the group or type of booking and will be confirmed at the time of booking.
  • The security deposit will be refunded within 7 working days after departure, provided the property is left in good condition.


5. Use of the Venue

5.1 Exclusive Use:

  • Raaghah Country Villa is available exclusively for your group during the booking period. This means that you and your guests will have access to the entire property, including all amenities, during your stay.
  • The venue is strictly halaal-friendly, ensuring a peaceful and safe environment for all guests.


5.2 Venue Capacity:

  • The maximum capacity for day visits is 25 guests. A surcharge of R50 per person will apply for groups exceeding the 25-person limit.
  • For overnight stays, the venue accommodates up to 10 people (based on available bedding and rooms).
  • Additional guests may be allowed upon request, and additional charges may apply.


5.3 Age Restrictions:

  • Children are welcome at Raaghah Country Villa, but they must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The guest is responsible for ensuring the safety and supervision of children during the stay.
  • For child safety, guests should ensure that children are supervised when using facilities such as the pool or jungle gym.


5.4 Noise and Behavior:

  • We strive to maintain a peaceful and respectful atmosphere for all guests. Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or any form of disturbance will not be tolerated. We ask that you respect the privacy of others and maintain a quiet and harmonious environment.
  • Raaghah Country Villa reserves the right to request the departure of guests who fail to adhere to these guidelines. No refund will be provided in such cases.


6. House Rules

6.1 Smoking:

  • Smoking is not permitted inside the villa or within any enclosed areas.


6.2 Alcohol and Drugs:

  • As a halaal venue, alcohol and illegal drugs are strictly prohibited on the premises. Guests found violating this policy may be asked to leave immediately, and no refund will be given.


6.3 Pets:

  • We understand that pets are part of the family, but pets are not permitted without prior approval from management. Special arrangements can be made for certain types of pets, but additional fees may apply.


6.4 Respecting the Property:

  • Guests are expected to treat the property with respect and ensure that all furniture, fixtures, and amenities are used responsibly. Any damages or breakages must be reported to management immediately.
  • Guests will be held responsible for any damages caused during their stay, and any repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the security deposit or charged directly.


7. Liability and Indemnity

7.1 Personal Liability:

  • Guests are responsible for their own safety while on the premises. Raaghah Country Villa does not accept liability for any injuries, accidents, or damage to personal belongings that occur during the stay.
  • Guests should exercise caution when using the pool, outdoor facilities, or any other amenities.


7.2 Indemnity:

  • By booking and staying at Raaghah Country Villa, guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Raaghah Country Villa, its owners, and employees from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from the guest's stay or use of the facilities.


8. Privacy and Data Protection

Raaghah Country Villa values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Any personal data collected during the booking process (e.g., name, contact information, payment details) will be used solely for the purpose of processing your booking, communication, and improving our services.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Raaghah Country Villa reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated through our website or directly to guests via email or WhatsApp. It is the responsibility of the guest to review these terms before confirming their booking.


10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes or claims arising from the booking or stay at Raaghah Country Villa will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in South Africa.
